White’s walk-off gives Wolves sweep Coahoma

WESSON – Freshman Ben White's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to drive in Noah Freeman from third to give the Co-Lin Wolves a 7-6 win and a sweep of the Coahoma Tigers. Co-Lin came from behind in the first game to take a 12-8.

"It's good to get two wins to start off conference play," said Co-Lin head baseball coach Clay Smith. "It was a touch day for pitchers today with the wind blowing out. We left a few balls up and made a couple of bad decisions on pitch selection and they took advantage of that. Luckily, we were able to do the same."

"Our team is starting to gel and we have a lot of guys that are contributing right now," Smith added.
