Danny Clark named MACJC Player of the Week

JACKSON, Miss. - Co-Lin quarterback Danny Clark earned MACJC Player of the Week honors for his impressive play against Southwest last Saturday. Clark, a Columbus, Ohio native, picked apart the Bears' secondary as he racked up 312 yards on 23-of-31 passing. More impressively, the University of Kentucky transfer chalked up five touchdown passes in the 41-0 shutout victory.

"I'm so grateful for this recognition after last week's game," said Clark. "It was an unbelievable effort from every position on the field, and we were able to send the sophomores out with a win. It was also more than helped that our defense stopped them in their tracks with a stone-cold shutout."

The game closed out the season for the Wolves as the team finished 4-5, 2-4. Clark wrapped up the year with 158 completions on 306 attempts for 2,166 yards. The Archbishop Hoban High School product tossed 18 touchdowns on the year to just five interceptions.

Next, for several Co-Lin players, is graduation in December before continuing their education and careers at four-year programs. Over the last three years, the Wolves have graduated and sent nearly 60 football players to the next level.
