Co-Lin announces ticket plans for 2020 football season

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College has announced plans for the distribution of tickets to the Wolf Pack's three home football games.

A limited number of fans will be allowed to attend each game as required by Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves Executive Order 1519 signed on Aug. 20. The order limits attendance to 25 percent of stadium capacity, in addition to other restrictions, to help control the spread of COVID-19.

In accordance with Executive Order 1519, 1,250 fans will be allowed to attend each home game in Stone Stadium. This number does not include members of the football team, coaches, and support staff; cheerleaders; or credentialed game-day workers.

Co-Lin will reserve an allotment of tickets for family members of the football team, cheerleaders, and Blue Wave Show Band. There will be an allotment of tickets for Co-Lin students and employees with valid college ID. Information about the distribution of those tickets will be communicated by campus email and must be reserved by Wednesday at noon prior to the game.

The remaining tickets under the 1,250 capacity will be on sale on a first-come, first-served basis for $10 each regardless of age. These tickets can be purchased online at colin.ticketleap.com.

Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) and Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) passes will be accepted provided the pass holder calls the college's Athletic Department at 601.643.8464 before Wednesday at noon. Only one person will be admitted per pass. Pass and valid ID must be presented at the gate.

Co-Lin hosts Pearl River on Thursday, Oct. 8 for homecoming, Hinds on Thursday, Oct. 22, and East Central on Thursday, Oct. 29. Kickoff for all home games is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Wolf Pack travels to Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m.; Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m.; and Jones College in Ellisville on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. For ticket information for away games and their general admission policies, please contact the visiting team's athletic department.

All Copiah-Lincoln Community College 2020 home football games will be video streamed live at the college's athletic website www.colinathletics.com. All games can be heard on WMJU MAJIC 104.3 FM in Brookhaven. Live audio stream of away games can be heard at www.colinathletics.com

All fans are asked to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms prior to coming to campus and to not enter Stone Stadium if they exhibit any symptoms as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Everyone over the age of six (6) must wear a mask at all times when not seated and when it is not possible to maintain six feet of separation for persons not in the same household. Face masks are encouraged when seated.

Social distancing is required at all times, especially when entering and exiting the stadium, at the concession stand, and at the restroom facilities. Tailgating or other fan gatherings outside Stone Stadium is prohibited at this time. Access to the sidelines will be strictly limited to the two football teams and their support personnel and to those with special credentials issued by the college's Office of Public Relations/Sports Information.
