Sophomores Sign with Senior Colleges

WESSON – Coming off the heels of one of the most successful seasons in program history, the Co-Lin Football team is celebrating the continuation of the careers of several sophomore members of the team. The Wolves had 18 sophomores sign with senior colleges in the early National Signing Day on Wednesday, December 20.

The sophomores and colleges they have signed with are as follows:

Johnnie Daniels (Crystal Springs, MS) – Mississippi State University

Tyler Fortenberry (Brookhaven, MS) – Vanderbilt University

Billy Pullen (Kaufman, Texas) – University of Louisiana Monroe

Kevontay Wells (Jackson, MS) – University of Louisiana Monroe

Quentis Griffin (Woodville, MS) – University of Louisiana Monroe

Jahron Manning (New Orleans, LA) – Old Dominion University

Navarion Benson (Crystal Springs, MS) – Louisiana Tech University

DeVon Tott (Mandeville, LA) – Norfolk State University

Carlos Martin (Laurel, MS) – Norfolk State University

O'Ryan James (Houma, LA) – Mississippi Valley State University

Richard Mays, Jr. (Ridgeland, MS) – Jackson State University

Montra Edwards (Lexington, MS) – Florida A&M University

Zane Hooper (Denham Springs, LA) – Southeastern Louisiana University

Brandon Gilliam (Vicksburg, MS) – Alabama State University

The 2023 Co-Lin Wolves finish the season with an overall record of 10-2, hitting the 10-win mark for the second time in program history. The Wolves were also MACCC South Division Champions and won the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl and finished the season ranked as the No. 4 team in the nation.
