Co-Lin golfers finish fifth in opening tournament

RAYMOND, Miss. – The Co-Lin golf team had a fifth-place finish in the first event of the year this weekend at Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Raymond. The Wolves shot a team total of 623 after two rounds and were led by Logan Pitts, who tied for seventh as an individual. Pitts shot back-to-back 75s for a two-day total of 150.

Lucas Brewer carded a 78 and the teams lowest score of the weekend, a 74, on day two for a total of 152. Will Marble shot a 77 and 80 for a 157, while Bryson Jones and Bryce Chapman posted 158s. Jones fired a 76 followed by an 82, and Chapman shot a 75 followed by an 83.

The Wolves are back on the course on Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2 as the Wolves travel to Amory for the NJCAA District D Preview at Ackia Golf Club.
