Sha’Quandra Carter earns NJCAA Region XXIII All-Tournament Team

CLINTON, Miss. – Copiah-Lincoln Community College forward Sha'Quandra Carter was tabbed NJCAA Region XXIII All-Tournament Team after a stellar performance in the Lady Wolves' tournament play last week in Clinton. The freshman from Monroe, La. poured in 41 points in the 69-66 win over Pearl River and 65-59 loss to Gulf Coast. Carter paired that offensive play with 18 total rebounds, including 15 in Co-Lin's victory over Pearl River to complete the double-double.

Carter, a Neville High School product, led the Lady Wolves in scoring this year with 372 points after shooting 46.9 percent from the floor. The freshman was also second on the team with 193 boards.

The Lady Wolves finished the year 21-7 and as MACJC runners-up.
