Sha’Quandra Carter tabbed MACJC Player of the Week

WESSON, Miss. – Copiah-Lincoln Community College freshman Sha'Quandra Carter earned the final MACJC Player of the Week recognition on the heels of being named a member of the NJCAA Region XXIII All-Tournament Team. The freshman from Monroe, La. scored 41 points in the Lady Wolves' 69-66 win over Pearl River and the 65-59 loss to Gulf Coast. Carter paired that impressive offensive play with 18 total rebounds, including 15 in Co-Lin's victory over Pearl River to complete the double-double.

Carter, a Neville High School product, led the Lady Wolves in scoring this year with 372 points after shooting 46.9 percent from the floor. The freshman was also second on the team in rebounds with 193 boards.

The Lady Wolves finished the year 21-7 and as MACJC runners-up.
