Lady Wolves Falter Against Lady Bobcats

ELLISVILLE – The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team continued South Division play with a road match against Jones College on Friday, September 24. The Lady Bobcats shutout the Lady Wolves with a 3-0 win.

Jones took a 1-0 lead in the first half scoring their first goal in the 33rd minute and carried the 1-0 lead into halftime. The Lady Bobcats added goals in the 55th and 84th minutes and held the Lady Wolves to one shot on goal for the match to secure the 3-0 win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alexandra Moon (Poynton with Worth, England) made 11 saves on 14 shots on goal throughout the match.

The Lady Wolves are 1-6-0 overall and 1-4-0 in South Division play and will return to action with a match against Dyersburg State on Monday September 27. The action will kickoff at 7 p.m., at H.L. Stone Stadium.
