Lady Wolves continue winning streak

SUMMIT, Miss. – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College women's tennis teams continued their excellent season on Tuesday with a 9-0 rout over Southwest in Summit. The Lady Wolves dropped just four games through six matches against the Lady Bears. Co-Lin is back on the courts this weekend, Saturday, March 9 as the team travels to Decatur to take on East Central Community College at 11 a.m.

In doubles play Paula Coronado and Carmen Manicea played at No. 1 and defeated Southwest's Alli Smith and Kimberly San 8-1, while the Clark twins, Katy Clark and Kara Clark played at No. 2. The sisters blanked Megan White and Sarah Robinson 8-0. Southwest forfeited No. 3 doubles due to lack of players.  

In singles action, Coronado cruised by Smith 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1, while Manicea defeated San 6-1,6-0 at No. 2. Katy Clark played No. 3 singles and defeated White 6-0, 6-0, while Kara Clark also earned a shutout with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Robinson at No. 4 singles.
