Meridian defeats Lady Wolves

MERIDIAN, Mississippi – It looked like a good day for the Lady Wolves as they won 2-of-3 doubles matches against the Meridian Lady Eagles. But the Lady Eagles rallied to tale 5-of-6 singles matches to get the 6-3 win. The Lady Wolves fall to 10-5 overall, 4-3 in the conference.

In doubles action, Co-Lin's Yari Bello/Cami Mordiz defeated Meridian's Randy Rakotoarilala/Isabella Quintero 8-5 at No. 1 and Adyson Parks/Ann-Clark Van defeated Ruthie Storment/Lilly Hollingsworth 8-4 at No. 3.

The Lady Wolves only managed one win in singles as Makaela Rummells defeated Cali Grace Davis 7-5, 6-4.

Co-Lin will celebrate sophomore day in Wesson on Thursday against the Hinds Lady Eagles at 2 p.m.
