Bio

One of the longest-tenured coaches on campus, Bryan Nobile begins his 17th year as an assistant baseball coach. Nobile also serves as the college’s Athletic Director and Assistant Dean of Students.

Nobile was the head coach at his alma mater, Mississippi Delta Community College, during the 2007-2008 season. Prior to coming to Co-Lin, Nobile served as a graduate assistant at Delta State University for two years under head coach Mike Kinnison. His primary responsibility was assisting with the pitching staff. Delta State posted a 102-18 record winning the 2002 NCAA Division II South Region and the 2003 Gulf South Conference Tournament titles during his two seasons as a graduate assistant. The Statesmen played in the NCAA Division II World Series in 2001-2002.

A native of Moorhead, Mississippi, Nobile received his bachelor’s degree in health, physical education and recreation and his master’s degree in education from Delta State University. He also attended Mississippi Delta Community College where he pitched for coach Terry Thompson’s Trojans.

As a pitcher for the Delta State Statesmen, Nobile was selected All-Gulf South Conference and All-South Region. In 2000, he made 24 appearances with a 1.26 ERA while posting a 2-1 record with seven saves. He also recorded 27 strikeouts and walked just five in 28 2/3 innings of work. His seven saves rank third on the DSU single-season records list.

Nobile has two daughters, Lucy and Ava.
