"We are glad to have all of our players back and together, during our three-game losing streak we weren't handling the ball well nor shooting well, we are doing that now and doing better on the defensive side," said Co-Lin head coach Gwyn Young. "We were able to attack tonight and pass the ball well...we still are not perfect by any means, but our energy was a lot better. It's still do or die for us so we have to keep winning ball games."

The Lady Wolves built a quick 10-point lead over the Lady Bears with a 9-0 run midway through the first quarter with seven of those points coming from TaMara Riley. Going into the second quarter, Southwest began to chip away at the Lady Wolves' lead, eventually cutting it to just one, 17-16. Co-Lin responded with a pair of baskets from Orien James and Sha'Quandra Carter to regain a five-point lead. The teams traded baskets for the remainder of the second quarter and the Lady Wolves took a 35-29 lead into the break.

Coming out of the locker room the Lady Wolves poured in another five points to grow the lead to double digits. The Lady Wolves never looked back and ballooned the lead to as many as 24-points late in the contest as Co-Lin ran away with the win.
