Tripp Case Named Co-Lin Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach

Tripp Case begins his first year as head coach of the men's and women's tennis teams. He served as assistant tennis coach of both men's and women's teams for the 2023-2024 season.

"We are excited to have Tripp head our tennis programs," stated Co-Lin Athletic Director Bryan Nobile. "His hard work and passion for the sport is unmatched. Being a former player here at Co-Lin, he understands the expectations of his players on and off the court."

Case was a member of the Co-Lin Men's Tennis team from 2016-2018. The 2018 team was ranked as high as 17th in the nation and made an appearance at the 2018 NJCAA Tennis National Championship. Case also served as team captain during his time at Co-Lin.

After graduating from Co-Lin with his Associate of Arts degree, Case attended Ole Miss where he was the tennis club president and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance degree in 2020.

"It's an honor to coach at my alma mater and I am so excited for what's in store," stated Case.  "We've got a special group of players coming to campus in August. Our sophomores are more motivated than ever to get back to Nationals, and our freshmen are ready to work hard. These teams have a ton of potential and will set the tone for our program's culture."

Case brings a plethora of tennis coaching and instructional experience with him starting from his time as a student at Co-Lin in 2017 where he worked at Brookhill on Natchez as the junior development coordinator. Case has been a PTR certified tennis instructor since 2018. His coaching career also includes time at Lafayette High School and Sacred Heart serving as assistant coach in both schools. While at Sacred Heart, the team was the MHSAA Class I State Champions. Case came to Co-Lin after serving as the men's and women's assistant tennis coach at Alcorn State University since January 2023.
