Sublett’s game winner lands him MACJC Player of the Week honors

WESSON, Miss. – Griffin Sublett, a sophomore from Pascagoula, Miss., helped lift the Wolves to a 27-24 victory last Thursday over East Central Community College. The Pascagoula High School graduate hit a 45-yard field goal with just 1:48 remaining in the game to break the 24-24 tie. The game winner was Sublett's second field goal of the night.

Sublett was also solid in the punting game, as he averaged nearly 35-yards per punt. He landed 2-of-3 punts inside the Warrior's 20-yard line. The impressive play earned Sublett MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the fourth time in his career.

"I just want to thank all the guys on the special team units," said Sublett. "They make my job possible…I'm also just glad to be representing Co-Lin."
