Swayze Bozeman Spotlights Google Cloud Academic All-America College Division At-Large Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – Sophomore football player Swayze Bozeman of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and junior field hockey player Margaret Pham from the University of British Columbia topped the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-America® College Division Men's and Women's At-Large Teams as named by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Bozeman collected the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for College Division men's at-large, while Pham reeled in the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for College Division women's at-large.

The college division includes two-year institutions, Canadian institutions and any United States four-year institutions that are not affiliated with the NCAA or NAIA.

Bozeman, a sophomore linebacker from Flora, Mississippi, sports a 4.00 grade-point average as a history major. Bozeman was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region XXIII honors. Bozeman was also named All-Mississippi Association of Community & Junior Colleges First Team. Bozeman led the Wolves with 91 tackles on the year. He also posted 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and three pass breakups as he helped the Wolves to a 6-4 record and Co-Lin's first playoff bid in four years.

Bozeman, who is president of Co-Lin's Fellowship of Christian Athletes, finished his career with 133 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Pham, a junior midfielder Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, has a 4.05 GPA as a kinesiology and interdisciplinary studies major. Pham was twice named a Canada West All-Star and was named to the 2017 U SPORTS All-Canadian team. Pham, who is a member of Canada's senior national team, was the co-scoring leader in Canada West during 2017. Pham received the Barbara Schrodt Award in Kinesiology along with the John B. Macdonald and Margaret E. Barr Bigelow Memorial scholarships in 2018-19.

Three men's Google Cloud Academic All-America® honorees boast 4.0 GPAs, while five women's recipients own 4.0 GPAs. The men's Google Cloud Academic All-America® team averaged a 3.94 GPA, and the women's Google Cloud Academic All-America® squad has an average GPA of 3.97.
