"We missed some shots that we normally make, and they did a good adjusting their defense to stop us," said Co-Lin head coach Kenny Bizot. "It's a difficult loss, especially on sophomore night, but the fortunate thing is we still have more basketball games to play…I'm disappointed to be on the losing end, but it was a good battle and both teams played good basketball."

The Wolves poured in the baskets in the final minutes of the first half after the game was tied for the fourth time at 13 with 10:26 left in the half. A layup from Miles Daniels ignited a 21-3 Co-Lin run that saw baskets from Jonathan Floyd, Youry White, and Damarius Brooks. Co-Lin tied the game three times over the next three minutes, but the Wildcats took a one point, 60-59 advantage after a pair of free throws from Cameron Douglas, with 8:03 remaining.

The Wolves were unable to take to the lead for the remainder of the contest as PRCC grew the lead over the final minutes. Co-Lin battled back as Floyd hit a big three pointer and was solid at the line, but the late push fell just short as the Wildcats escaped Wesson with a 79-75 win.
