Wolves in third after round one of MACCC Event #4

WESSON – The host Co-Lin Wolves are in third place after shooting a first round 315 in the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) Event #4 at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. Meridian is in the lead at 312 followed by Northeast Mississippi 313, Mississippi Gulf Coast 316, Southwest 321, Itawamba 323 and Hinds 352.

Individually for the Wolves, Landon Nobles is tied for second after shooting a 74. Nick Davis is in fifth at 75. Scores for other Co-Lin golfers are Jordan Davis (81), Ty Brewer, Seth Beall and Ty Nelson at (85).

"Landon and Nick had really good rounds," said Co-Lin head coach Allen Kent. "We just need some of the other guys to step up and play like they are capable."

Tee off for the final round is set for 9 a.m.
