Co-Lin in fourth at MACCC Event #6
McCOMB – The Co-Lin Wolves are currently in fourth place after the first round of the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference's (MACCC) Event #6 hosted by Southwest Mississippi Community College at Quail Hollow Golf Club.
Meridian Community College is leading after the first round with a score of 292. Mississippi Gulf Coast is two shots back at 294. Northeast Mississippi is in third place at 298 followed by Co-Lin at 313. Rounding out the team scores, Southwest Mississippi (319), Itawamba (323) and Hinds (326).
Individually, Co-Lin's Landon Nobles shot 75 (Alexandria High School LA) which puts him tied for eighth place. Ty Brewer (Wesson High School) and Jordan Davis (Murray High School) are tied for 15th place after shooting 77. Nick Davis (Catholic High School) is tied for 21st place after shooting a 78. Rounding out the scoring is Ty Nelson (Lawrence County High School) at 83 and Seth Beall (Purvis High School) at 84.
Tee times for the final round will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m.
