Wolves finish sixth in Lou Hart Invitational

MERIDIAN, Mississippi – The Co-Lin Wolves finished sixth in the Lou Hart Invitational at Northwood County Club in Meridian.

Mississippi Gulf Coast claimed the tournament title at 563, 26 shots ahead of second place finisher East Central 589. Other team scores include Meridian 592, Northeast

Mississippi and Jones College tied at 604, Co-Lin 611, Hinds 615, East Mississippi 623, Southwest 324, Itawamba 636, and Pearl River 705.

Jackson Wise of Mississippi Gulf Coast captured medalist honors with a two-day total of 138. Leading the Wolves was freshman Lander Guibert (San Sebastian, Spain) at 148 followed by Oscar Toreld (Binnerbäck, Sweden) 152, Reese McLaurin (Laurel) 155, Jamie Hernandez (Palma De Mallorca, Spain) 156, Harlan Brewer (Wesson) 159, and Myles Walters (Laurel) who was playing as an individual at 163.

The Wolves will play in the Mississippi Association of College Conference (MACCC) Monday and Tuesday, April 8-9, at Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica.
