
Parkinson Nabs Conference Honor
JACKSON- The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team had a member of the squad earn conference honors this week, marking the second straight week a member of the Wolf Pack has done so. Sophomore goalkeeper Ben Parkinson (Bury, England) was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Men's Soccer Goalie of the Week for his effort against Meridian on Friday, October 15.
Parkinson played the entire 110 minutes of the match saving all nine shots on goal he faced throughout. On the season, Ben has 62 total saves in 11 games played and has allowed 14 goals for an goals against average of 1.29 and a save percentage of 81.6. Parkinson also has two shutouts on the year and has played a combined 973 minutes and 31 seconds on the pitch this season.
Parkinson and the rest of the Wolf Pack will be back in action with a South Division match on the road against Gulf Coast. The action on the pitch is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m.
