Wolf Pack Pair Earn Conference Honors.
JACKSON – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference announced the selection of the Soccer All-Conference teams on Thursday, November 4. The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team had a pair of freshmen earn All-Conference honors.
Forward Hardy Lewis and defender Eli Harrist were both named as members of Second Team All-Conference in the South Division.
Lewis, a Brandon native, played in 14 games with 11 starts for the Wolves. Hardy accounted for 18 overall points with seven goals and four assists as an essential part of the Wolves offensive attack throughout the season.
"Hardy is a hardworking forward who is very good in the air," stated Co-Lin Soccer head coach Tom Cosgrave. "He is a massive threat going forward and scored multiple goals for us even whilst missing a few games due to injury."
Harrist, also a Brandon native, started in 14 games for the Wolves. Eli was an anchor for the Wolves defensive backline all season as well as flashing offensive capabilities for the squad as he accounted for seven overall points with three goals and one assist.
"Eli is a big, solid physical center back who has been excellent for us all season as a freshman," said Cosgrave. "He won multiple challenges and helped keep the defense organized throughout the season."
