WESSON – The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team resumed MACCC play hosting Jones on Friday, October 4. The No. 10 Bobcats beat the Wolves, 2-0.
The first half was a defensive battle between the two teams as they limited each other's scoring chances and forward attacks resulting in a 0-0 score at the end of play. The Bobcats then scored a goal in the 63rd minute to take a 1-0 lead and converted a penalty kick in the 84th minute to secure the 2-0 win.
Jamie Duran (Madison) saved two of four shots on goal faced throughout the match.
Co-Lin is now 4-2-2 overall, 1-2-2 in conference play, and will return to action hosting Hinds on Tuesday, October 4. Action between the No. 13 Eagles and the Wolves is set to kickoff at 7:30 on the pitch at Stone Stadium in Wesson.
