Wolves fall to ECCC at home

WESSON, Miss. – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves fell to 0-2 on the year with a 9-0 loss to East Central Community College in Wesson over the weekend. The Wolves are back in action this Thursday, February 14 as Co-Lin host Jones College at 2 p.m.

Braden Ishee and Drew Nelson combined forces for the Wolves at No. 1 doubles but fell to East Central's Chris Lawrance and Issac Santitto 8-2. Toby White and Ray Drane paired up for No. 2 doubles, but all fell to ECCC. Dylan Barnett and Peyton Chaney played No. 2 doubles for the Warriors. 

In singles play, Ishee fell to Lawrance 6-1, 6-0, while Nelson lost to Santitto 6-1, 6-1. White dropped a match to Barnett 6-0, 6-1, while Jason Clayburn rounded out singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 loss to Isaac Keen.
