Wolves drop match against Indians

FULTON, Miss. – The Wolves of Copiah-Lincoln Community College fell to the Itawamba Community College Indians on Tuesday in Fulton. The loss drops Co-Lin to 0-5 on the year and moves ICC to 1-3.

In doubles play, Braden Ishee and Drew Nelson teamed up at No. 1 and fell to Franco Roldan and Blake Gregory 8-4, while Ray Drane and Toby White lost at No. 2 doubles 8-1 to ICC's Reese Duncan and Sergio Garcia-Uruena.

In singles, Ishee lost to Roldan 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, while Garcia-Urena defeated Co-Lin's Drane 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Nelson played at No. 3 and split sets with Duncan. Nelson battled in the tiebreaker to secure the win for the Wolves, 6-4, 4-6 (10-5). White lost to ICC's Zak Keith 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4. Jason Clayborn rounded out the Wolves at No. 5 and lost to Hayden Embry 6-2, 6-0.
