Wesson native, Dr. Rob Channell begins his fourth season as the assistant coach to both men’s and women’s tennis teams. Channell has taught biology at the college since 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in science education and biology. Channell has since gone on to receive his doctorate degree. While in graduate school, Channell served as a graduate assistant with the USM Golden Eagle track team.

During 2018-2019, Channell served as head coach of the men’s and women’s tennis program. He led the Lady Wolves to the 2019 MACJC State and NJCAA Region 23 titles, the first for Co-Lin since 2002. The team went on to finish 14^th in the NJCAA National Tournament and had seven players earn MACJC postseason honors and three earn NJCAA All-Region recognition.
