WESSON - The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team had their home opener for the 2021 season with a contest against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Friday, September 17. The Bulldogs took the contest by a final of 3-0.
The first half was scoreless as the Lady Wolves were held to two shots on goal, while sophomore goalkeeper Alexandra Moon (Poynton with Worth, England) saved all six shots on goal she faced in the half.
The second half saw the Bulldogs score goals in the 50th, 71st, and 76th minute while also stifling the Lady Wolves attack throughout the match to earn the 3-0 win.
Alexandra Moon made 12 saves on 15 shots on goal throughout the match.
The Lady Wolves are now 1-4-0 overall and 1-2-0 in South Division play and will continue their season in South Division play with a home contest against Pearl River Community College. The action on the pitch will kickoff at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, September 21, at H.L. Stone Stadium.
