WESSON – The Co-Lin Women's Soccer team finished the 2021 season with a home match against Jones College on Tuesday, October 26. The Lady Bobcats beat the Lady Wolves by a final of 3-0.
The match looked to be headed towards a scoreless first half until the Lady Bobcats found the back of the net in the 37th minute and then increased their lead in the 42nd minute. The 2-0 score held throughout the remainder of the first half.
The Lady Bobcats added a goal in the 79th minute and kept the Lady Wolves offense at bay to secure the 3-0 win.
Sophomore goalkeeper Alexandra Moon (Poynton with Worth, England) saved 12 of 15 shots on goal throughout the match.
The Lady Wolves finish the season with a 3-12-1 overall record and 2-8 in South Division play.
