Jones College defeats Lady Wolves on Sophomore Day

WESSON – The Jones College Lady Bobcats defeated the Co-Lin Lady Wolves 7-2 in tennis action this afternoon. The five Co-Lin sophomores honored were Britany Barnett and Meagan Poole, both of Brookhaven, Susan Patino of Bogota, Columbia; Gracie Phillips of Crystal Springs and Madison Shows of Mendenhall. The Lady Wolves fall to 8-6 on the season.

"I'm disappointed by the losses, but very proud of how hard each team played against a very strong Jones team," said Co-Lin head tennis coach Dana Hale. "I am extremely happy that Susan Patino finished her regular season undefeated at No. 1 singles. I'm thankful for the leadership the sophomores have shown this season and look forward to the Regional tournament."
