Lady Wolves get first round win in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament

ELLISVILLE– The No. 4 seed Co-Lin Lady Wolves defeated the No. 5 seed Meridian Community College Lady Eagles 5-1 in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 23 Tennis Tournament hosted by Jones College. The matches were scheduled to start at 10 a.m. but were delayed due to the weather conditions during the night.

In two prior meetings with Meridian early in the season, the Lady Eagles defeated Co-Lin 7-2 (Jan. 26) and 5-4 (March 5).

Co-Lin picked up a win at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles.
