No. 12 MGCCC hands Co-Lin first defeat 7-2

PERKINSTON, Mississippi — No. 12 Mississippi Gulf Coast handed the No. 16 Co-Lin their first loss of the season by a score of 7-2.  The Lady Wolves fall to 5-1 overall, 2-1 in conference.

Co-Lin picked up wins at No. 1 doubles as Camila Mordiz and Yariange Bello defeated Danique Vermue and Angela Moreno of Gulf Coast 8-5. Bello picked up the only singles win at No. 2 defeating Vermue 7-5, 6-3.

The Lady Wolves host the Northwest Lady Rangers Tuesday with matches starting at 2 p.m.
