Bio

Theavis Cooper, of Brookhaven, begins his ninth year at Co-Lin and his second year as head athletic trainer. Cooper graduated from Alcorn State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in pre-physical therapy. He graduated in May  2017 from Texas A&M University with a master of science degree in athletic training and was BOC certified upon graduation. Cooper has been a part of championship winning programs at Alcorn State and Texas A&M University.

Since arriving at Co-Lin, Cooper has worked to expand the rehabilitation and emergency care capabilities of the sports medicine department. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified strength and conditioning specialist. 

Cooper and his wife, Tiffany, have one daughter, Iva Rae.
