Bio

Trip Benson is in his second year with Co-Lin Baseball. Before joining the Wolfpack he was the Graduate Assistant Coach at Belhaven University with the Blazers. Before joining the coaching staff at Belhaven, Trip played for the team for five years starting for four of those. Trip graduated from Belhaven with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration.

Trip’s goals when it comes to coaching are focused on developing players both in the physical and mental aspects of the game of baseball. As a utility player at Belhaven he had to learn the ins and outs of multiple positions giving him a well-rounded view of the game.

Trip is a native of Ripley, Mississippi where he attended Pine Grove High School. Academically, Trip was the top of his class at Pine Grove.
